What to Bring to the SAT: Complete Test Day Bag List

Every item you need (and shouldn't bring) on Digital SAT test day, from ID requirements to backup calculators and snacks.

    Required Items

These are non-negotiable. Arriving without any of these can mean you are turned away.

    • A valid government-issued photo ID
    • Your printed or digital admission ticket
    • A fully charged laptop or tablet with Bluebook installed
    • A charger

    Recommended Extras

Bluebook has a built-in Desmos calculator, but bringing an approved physical calculator as backup is smart in case of a tech issue.

    • Approved graphing calculator
    • Watch (non-smart, silent)
    • Water bottle
    • Small snack for the break
    • A light layer in case the room is cold

    Prohibited Items

Phones must be powered off and stored away. Smartwatches, earbuds, and scratch paper you brought yourself are all prohibited.
