SAT Test Day Checklist: What to Do the Morning of the Test
A minute-by-minute Digital SAT test day checklist so nothing goes wrong before you sit down at the test center.
The Night Before
Charge your laptop or tablet to 100%. Confirm Bluebook is installed and your exam is downloaded. Pack your bag the night before, not the morning of.
- Photo ID
- Admission ticket (printed or on phone)
- Fully charged laptop or tablet
- Charger
- Approved calculator as backup
- Water and snack
- Layered clothing
The Morning Of
Eat the same breakfast you've eaten on practice-test mornings. Leave 15 minutes earlier than you think you need to — parking at test centers is unpredictable.
Before the First Module
Log into Bluebook, confirm your exam is ready, and take three deep breaths. Your first minute of Module 1 sets the tone for the section — don't rush it.
