Digital SAT Pacing Strategy: How to Finish Every Module on Time
Concrete pacing strategies for every Digital SAT module so you never run out of time — and what to do if you do.
Baseline Targets by Module
Reading & Writing: about 71 seconds per question.
Math: about 95 seconds per question.
These are averages. Easy questions should come in well under the average so you bank time for harder ones.
The 'Two Pass' Method
On every module, do a first pass where you answer everything you can in under 60 seconds, flag anything slower, then return to flagged questions with remaining time. This prevents one hard question from eating the whole module.
