How to Review an SAT Practice Test (the Right Way)

Taking a practice test is only half the work. Here is a rigorous review process that turns missed questions into durable score gains.

    The Three-Column Review

For every missed question, write three things: what the question was actually asking, what you picked and why, and what the correct path would have been. This exposes pattern-level errors.

    Categorize Every Miss

Sort misses into four buckets: content gap, careless error, misread, and pacing. Your next week of study should target the bucket you filled most.

    Revisit After a Week

Re-do your missed questions seven days later without looking at the explanation first. If you still miss, that's a true content gap — not a fluke.
