What is a perfect SAT score?

A perfect SAT score is 1600 — the maximum possible. That is 800 on Reading & Writing plus 800 on Math.

    How rare is a 1600?

Fewer than 1% of test takers earn a perfect 1600. It usually requires missing zero or one question in each section while reaching the hard Module 2.

Can you miss questions and still get 1600?

Sometimes. The exact raw-to-scaled conversion varies by test form. Some forms allow one miss per section and still award 800; others do not.
